What I've been up to...

Woohoo it's the weekend...boohoo to the weather though, See I don't mind the cold it's just the hair ruining rain, seriously how is my hair meant to look even half acceptable in this?! I am currently writing this post from the comfort of Josh's bed whilst he has gone to the gym, leaving me all snug, a cup of tea on the bedside cabinet and a 'Dairy box' next to me, now that is what I call breakfast in bed.

So here's a bit of what I've been up to over on Instagram, which I'm becoming obsessed with, I could literally spend hours getting lost on Instagram, lusting over outfit posts, new in trends, décor inspo...all sorts really.

I really do try not to use filters on my photos, I much prefer to just take pics in good lighting, I'll only brighten the picture up if you can't see detailing or the lighting hasn't caught what I'm trying to take a picture of properly.

So in the top left hand corner is my new hair do, the extensions are out and I'm going cold turkey... for as long as poss, it's hard and I have to keep telling myself 'natural is better natural is better' and I really want to take good care of my own hair.

I am so in love with this unicorn money box from New Look, not that I'd use it as a money box (I'm awful at saving) I'm so gutted I didn't buy it, but I seriously don't have anywhere to put it, I've got so many candles and pretty things, I'm trying to work out where I could put more shelves and as soon as they are up this unicorn will have a saved space for sure.

Anyways, I'm off to Fratton park, to 'have a beer and do some crowd chanting' haha and then for a TGI's catch up with the girly's tonight...yumyum.

Have a lovely weekend...

Mixing it up

Ok, so I'm not complaining about the sunshine we've had today but is the weather going to make it's mind up some point soon?! does it not realise the stress it causes me when getting ready in the morning, don't know whether to wrap up or go easy on the layers and I get changed at least 3 times before leaving the house.

Who says you can't wear summer pieces/prints in the colder months?! I actually bought this Boohoo Jumpsuit back in summer and unfortunately never got a chance to wear it, I wasn't going to let it just sit in my wardrobe with a tag on until next summer so I thought I'd team it with a little sleeveless black top from Topshop and some chunky Primark boots to give it more of an autumn/wintery feel. I've also already decided when it gets really chilly I'm going to put a black polo neck underneath and add a chunky scarf and jacket, the summery pattern and colours of the jumpsuit will really add to my winter wardrobe and work well with all the black I'll wear with it.

Black top - Topshop / Jumpsuit - Boohoo / belt - H&M / Boots - Primark / bag - H&M / silver hoops - Primark / Sunglasses - Ebay.

Hope you enjoyed today's post and maybe given you some ideas about re -wearing summer bits with added layers.

would love to hear your ideas.

Stripes on stripes

Body suit - Boohoo / Pencil skirt, boots , rucksack, necklace - Primark/ Sleeveless jacket - Select.

I do love a stripe and what better way to express it than mix two types together. The low cut bodysuit is a Boohoo number, it fits like a glove and being as I have fried eggs for a 'chest' I feel very comfortable in it, although I have had a nip slip...or two. The pencil skirt is Primark, I love it for work with a plain black top and some chunky jewellery, that's the good thing about working in an office, most, if not all things I buy I can wear in or out of work and what a great excuse when I see things I like but shouldn't really buy.. "Spose I'll wear it for work too." Sleeveless jackets are a must have, I have a few and I think they can really complete an outfit when it's too warm for a jacket and they are very on trend at the moment, this one was a bargain buy in Select, saw it in the window so obvs had to buy it.  Necklace bag and boots are all Primark.

hope you enjoyed todays short but sweet post.
how is your Monday?!

Lots of love Louisa.

Leapord print love

I'd like to introduce today's stars of the show... my lovely leopard print wedges, Florence and Fred strikes again, I only go into Tesco for a meal deal but 9 times out of 10 some sort of item of clothing or shoes accidentally fall into my basket and then I just feel obliged to give them a loving new home in my wardrobe. Also these were £6, how could I leave them on the shelf?!

The beige jacket is a little H&M in Las Vegas find, its suede and is definitely going to come in handy when the colder weather comes our way..eek, there's something about the cold weather that gets me feeling all festive and cosy, not to mention craving hot chocolate.

Everyone needs a denim skirt in they're wardrobe surely?! I know they do a version in Topshop but I came across this Primark bargain and I really don't think it looks all that different. Can't wait to wear it with tights and a chunky jumper. My top is a golden oldie from Topshop and I can not wear it without feeling the need to wear a red or purple lippy.

Top - Topshop/ Coat - H&M Las Vegas/ hat - H&M / belt - H&M / shoes - Tesco / Bag - Zante Greece/ Skirt - Primark.

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday, I'm currently at the boyfs with a roast on the way later!!

Pretty in pink

Pink on pink....my kind of heavennn, not to mention the different fabrics going on, faux fur and Faux leather. The cropped sleeve jumper from Primark is about 2 years old now but still going strong, although I have probably only worn this a handful of times as I don't think the colour suits me as well as I'd like it too. Now I'm not really one for skater skirts due to my long skinny legs, as I feel it can sometimes look like two bits of string dangling which can look rather un-flattering, but I could not leave Primark with out this little gem. The beauty of it completely distracted me from the image of 'two bits of string' and I do not regret it. Thank you Primark probably the only skater skirt I will ever own... unless anyone knows where I can get any other colours?! lol.

River Island take a bow... I am head over heels in LOVE with these knee high boots, I loved them last year but having moved out of my parents home and entering the big wide world of bills and budgeting £75 was rather a lot of money to be spending on a pair of boots. That's all changed now though! I'm back home with Daddy and in possession of these beauty's. They're not as tight as I'd like them to be (can you notice the skinny leg situation is a re- occurring problem?!) but they are the tightest I've found yet and I would sleep in these if I could. There is something about them that any outfit you put them with instantly makes you feel 'grown up' and sophisticated. Best £75 I've spent in a long time.

It would be rude to leave the quilted chain strap bag out because it basically lives on my shoulder outside of work. This was a charity shop find for £3 but originally from Knight and Lee.

Hope I didn't go on too much... opps!
