Pink to make the boys wink...

Asos, take a bow, give yourselves a huge pat on the back and crack open the champers! ... I never believed in love at first sight until I saw these worldies! (If you're reading this Josh I love you second ok, and it's your fault for buying me them.) Pink velvet heeled ankle boots... they are just sooooo bloody dreamy, I literally love them so much that I have made a space for them on my shelf in my bedroom with all my decorative and pretty bits, geeeek. My Dad actually poked his head in my room and laughed at me for having them on my shelf, I recon he's just jel that his feet are too big to fit in them.

There's no doubt about it that these boots stand out for themselves, I love the way they shine in the light too. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit pretty simple but with a tiny bit of added pink on the top half. I actually have a playsuit on here from H&M which I have tucked into these bargain £7 trousers from F&F, let's all go to Tesco la la la la ooooo.

As it's not cold enough yet to wear a big jacket I teamed with my plain black sleeveless jacket from New Look and decided with throw in the floppy hat, mainly just to cover up my bad hair day though, thank god for hats.

Fishnet Fridayzzzz

Here she is...3 cheers for Friday...rey hey hey! It's the weekend and for all you Monday to Friday office babes like myself there's only a few hours to go until (I finish early today YAY) 2 whole (not enough really) days of freedom. I swear my brain just lets off a load of party poppers inside my head 'cause I get all excited as soon as my alarm goes off. I'm completely aware I sound like a right sad act getting excited over the weekend, but for me the weekends can't come quick enough, usually just so I can drink wine to be honest, as alcohol on a 'school night' will get me a spot in my own bad book, I like to be fresh for work.

Tonight I am behaving and not raving with the girls as I really need to take it easy after being so poorly recently, so bae is cooking me a steak dinner and I'm putting on my most comfy PJ's and having an early night...heaven.

Although I love to clash patterns, prints and bright colours I do also love the plain and simple all black 'errrrything' look, plus the fact I felt my new red bag really should be star of the show. The fishnet crop I have on under my playsuit is often pushed to the back of my wardrobe with the last time I wore it being on a girls holiday to Magaluf in 2014, but I think it works so well with this outfit combo as it's not warm enough to go bare with the playsuit but not cold enough for a chunky jumper.

Amen to these River island knee highs they are just an absolute god send. They work so well with everything, day or night, dress down or glam up, £75 very well spent.

Khaki Co-ord

Sorry sorry sorry, I have been rubbish with posts this past week. Been ever so busy and very over tired. I'm trying to get my body clock back to normal after quite a bit of time off work ill. So yes.. apologies for the slacking, I've given myself a slapped wrist.

Anyway.. enough of that babble...what a bloody wonderful Co-ord I have found in Dorothy Perkins. I don't usually visit DP's as it's right at the back of the shopping centre and tucked away, but I passed it and popped in. I'm absolutely loving that it's a jacket and skirt Co-ord as it's getting a bit nippy outside so can't really go wearing the usual crop and skirt sets...and the colour... well it's bang on trend this season(and one of my fave colours), absolute winnneeerrrrr, I am very pleased.

I have teamed with a plain black New Look polo neck, black tights (brrrrr) and my wonderful Zara lacey heels. I thought the red lippy was needed to glam things up as My Dad and Sister both told me I look like I'm in the military.. to be honest I'd probably wear red lippy with my uniform if I was in the military anyway.

Interior designer

I actually quite fancy myself as an interior designer you know, hhhmmm future career path?! Basically it all ties in with my love for fashion and buying things, instead of dressing myself I'd be dressing a room and I could fit soooo much more into a room than on my body, ooo them sort of thoughts excite me. I'm obsessed with my bedroom it's the box room of the house so I've had to be clever about storage and shelf's, fear not though... I've still managed to make room for plenty of pretty accessories of course. I'm not going to go into to much detail about my bedroom as I will do a post with pics soon.

I am loving the whole white look at the moment, so clean and crisp and a perfect start to add some pops of colour, I think gold works really well with white and makes the whole vibe feel very feminine I almost feel like this room needs a ' no boys allowed' sign. As with my wardrobe there's nothing I love more than a pattern clash, it can really add Character to a room, So I've decided to clash the cushions with a few different patterns, keeping the white in two of the patterns to go with the white scheme.

I think mirrors play a big part in room décor and can also make a room look bigger, I love the gold one I've picked here to help bring out the gold in the cushions. Accessories accessories accessories, anyone would think I'm obsessed (I am.) Again I think you can really add character and colour to a room with accessories whether it be on shelf's, side tables or just about anywhere that floats your boat really.

Lighting is probably most important, how are you going show off your room if you have poor lighting?! why not add lamps, candles or fairy lights, I have all three in my bedroom and use them to suit my mood at the time.

well I hope you enjoyed todays post, something a little bit different to 'Jazz' things up.

How would you design your living room? I'd love you to share your ideas!

Golden Oldies

I am a hoarder. Feel like I should be sat in a circle in a group counselling session with a name badge on and 'Hoarding addict' underneath. I just can't bring myself to get rid of clothes or shoes, I'm haunted by this time I chucked a beautiful pair of boots out that were 'out of season' and then they came back in a few months later...devo! so from then on I promised to never chuck anything out, unless unwearable of course.

The oldest of the bunch is this little red number from River Island which is actually about 15 years old, my Dad's lovely girlfriend passed it on to me after one of her wardrobe clear outs along with a load of vintage Topshop...Heaven! I really love the back of it which is why I had to wear my hair up to really show it off.

Ripped jeans are obviously a must have in anyone's wardrobe, they literally go with everything and I felt they really update this outfit.

My fave is this cute little flowery bomber from H&M and it's been a wardrobe resident for a good 6 years I recon, I love how you can dress it up or down.

Workout wear

As much as I'd love to be able to write about how amazing I am at the gym and that I do 2 hour work outs and eat really healthy...I can't. I am not going to even try and pretend I 'love' the gym. I joined with my boyfriend about a month ago and have been over there probably a grand total of 5 times...max and have spent approximately 20 minutes altogether in the actual gym. I much prefer going for a nice leisurely swim and a long relax in the Jacuzzi, not forgetting to pop upstairs to the bar for some food. I'm very lucky that I'm naturally slim and can eat whatever I want without having to exercise.

So basically I spend more time shopping for gym wear than I do working out, typical Louisa if I'm honest. You can't blame me though, the gym wear around at the mo is amaze and I love that places like Missguided and Boohoo have a range too!

This Co-ord is from New look and I'm absolutely in love with it. Why shouldn't work out gear be stylish, I get it that no body really cares what you look like at the gym and you come out in a sweaty mess (The only sweat I break is from eating to much in the bar) but It's nice to feel good about yourself. My trainers are from the Nike shop and if I was a real gym enthusiast then Nike trainers would be making a much more regular appearance on my bank statements because their trainers are just beautiful.

Hope you enjoyed todays post! where do you shop for gym gear??

Mixing it up

Ok, so I'm not complaining about the sunshine we've had today but is the weather going to make it's mind up some point soon?! does it not realise the stress it causes me when getting ready in the morning, don't know whether to wrap up or go easy on the layers and I get changed at least 3 times before leaving the house.

Who says you can't wear summer pieces/prints in the colder months?! I actually bought this Boohoo Jumpsuit back in summer and unfortunately never got a chance to wear it, I wasn't going to let it just sit in my wardrobe with a tag on until next summer so I thought I'd team it with a little sleeveless black top from Topshop and some chunky Primark boots to give it more of an autumn/wintery feel. I've also already decided when it gets really chilly I'm going to put a black polo neck underneath and add a chunky scarf and jacket, the summery pattern and colours of the jumpsuit will really add to my winter wardrobe and work well with all the black I'll wear with it.

Black top - Topshop / Jumpsuit - Boohoo / belt - H&M / Boots - Primark / bag - H&M / silver hoops - Primark / Sunglasses - Ebay.

Hope you enjoyed today's post and maybe given you some ideas about re -wearing summer bits with added layers.

would love to hear your ideas.
