Lily and Rose

I've realised I go through phases with what type of item I obsess over buying and at the moment it is 1 million percent jewellery. My wardrobe is full of fancy, patterned, colourful out there clothes but I'm recently discovering how much I love wearing plain pieces of clothing and letting the jewellery take the lime light.

So as you can imagine I was over the moon when Lily and Rose got in contact to review some of their jewellery. I hadn't heard of them before and I'm actually quite gutted because let me tell you now, their pieces are just beautiful!!! I picked 3 pieces, which by the way was the hardest decision of my life so far as I wanted every bit *Adds the whole of Lily and Rose to birthday list* and so will you when you check out their website.

So after a few hours of chopping and changing my mind I finally decided on the 'Miss Kate - Jet earrings' 'Kate - Indian Pink earrings' and the 'Miranda - Jet bracelet'

Miss Kate - Jet earrings

The jewellery Gods from up above have answered my prayers. I absolutely love love love big earrings, whether that's hoops, dangles or large studs, my only problem I always have the problem of them being far to heavy for my poor little earlobes and only being able to wear them for a short amount of time which is more than annoying when you want the focus to be on your jewellery rather than outfit. So this is where my prayers (more like moans) were answered, these earrings look although they are going to be really heavy and I can't understand how they are not because of the amount of stunning crystals on them, I am able to wear them all day long without one ounce of pain or 'heaviness.' That is seriously such a nice feeling knowing that I'm not having to actually go by the 'Beauty is pain moto' and can leave them in all night, I even wore them to work to show off and didn't take them off until bed time.....amazing!!

Miranda - Jet bracelet

Oooooo more heavenly jewels, this time for my wrist. Although I'm a new self proclaimed jewellery obsessor (Recon this could be a job title?) I don't often buy bracelets, hence the reason I chose one from Lily and Rose. Just like a good watch, a good bracelet can really make an outfit, Personally I struggle with anything 'wristy' because mine are so small but this Miranda Jet bracelet is just so elegant it really works well on anyone in the small wrist gang, a gentleman client at work even complimented how beautiful it is and when a man compliments your jewellery you know its a good piece. It's not very often you find fancy jewellery without it being boring but Lily and rose have really mixed things up and put a twist on their pieces by using coloured stones... which with my track record of all things colourfull and clashing, their bits are just prefect as they still hold on to that elegant feel. I went for black because it is just so different and I love that I can wear them with anything.

I feel I should do a separate post for The Indian pink earrings, so please keep an eye out for my post on these, where I'm pretty sure you'll be dribbling over your screens with hearts in your eyes.

Fleet Street Style

What A place! Like seriously. I have been lucky enough to travel to many different places/country's and stay in all sorts of different hotels and apartments, but 'The Fleet Street Hotel' in Dublin, just an hours plane journey away is definitely one of my favourites for sure. Being a lover of all things Fashion, Stylish and Glam as soon as I saw the picture of the bathroom with dressing table and free standing tub I was sold... doesn't take much aye! THEN, I saw the luxurious bedroom with crushed velvet and the most glam headboard you've seen and I had already unpacked my suitcase and placed my bits round the room (In my head of course) before booking.

I definitely recommend paying a bit extra to upgrade to an 'Elegance room' The only thing you will be disappointed with is having to leave this chic hotel when it comes to home time, We even tried to stay another night but unfortunately we could not change our flights, serious boooooooooo, so the closest to an extra night we could get was late check out at 2pm for just 20 Euros, BARGAIN.

Being the perfectionist that I am, I emailed ahead to make sure we could try and secure a room with a free standing tub as It does state not all bathrooms have one, with a very fast response I was advised they would pop it on my reservation notes and try their hardest to secure me one... and boy did they deliver! We even arrived to a bottle of champagne on ice and a personal letter, now that's service right there and made our stay even more special with such personal touches.

The hotel staff can not do enough to help, each and every member of staff we came across were so welcoming and VERY helpful, there is a mini bar in reception which may I add is a very nice touch. After a long day of travelling it was nice to sit and relax with a Baileys on ice in the ever so stylish and colour co-ordinated reception, whilst waiting for our coach to the Punches town Races. There is also FREE WiFi

Location location location, You can not get a better location than this hotel, located in he heart of Dublin city and temple bar, 2 minute walk from The famous Grafton street where you will find shops, bars and restaurants, there is also an airport coach that stops right outside the hotel and Trinity college and the wax work museum are a 30 second walk. Now if your a foodie like Josh and I you'll be even more thrilled that The Fleet Street Hotel is actually partnered with TGI Fridays, At the press of a button you'll be out of the lift and at the entrance ready to be seated and get start the cocktails flowing. Now I know you should really try places you don't have back home, but who can resists their blackened Fajitas and Bubble Gum Daiquiri's?! not us!

I honestly could talk about how amazing this Hotel is all day long, I can not fault it AT ALL, and these days that is a rarity. I defiantly would recommend this hotel 200% to anyone looking at staying in Dublin.
